Streich Flex O Minnow Lure

The Streich Flex O Minnow Lure was first patented in 1921. This antique lure was made by the Streich’s Company out of Joliet Illinois. The lure was a painted metal head with glass eyes and a rubber tail. The antique fishing lure had only a single hook to which the end of the tail was attached. Finding these in one piece with the tail intact can be a challenge due to the rubber not being able to stand up to the elements or being fished. The Streich fishing lure package shown below in the gallery comes with quite the large instruction book which describes the features functions and benefits of the lure. The antique lure was available in a few different colors scheme choices. The Streich company made other lures as well such as the “Acro-Bait”.
