Unner Flash Lure

The Unner Flash Lure was introduced around 1953. This antique wooden lure was made by the O. M. Bait Company out of Hazel Park Michigan. This no eyed lure measures 2″ in length and has two treble hooks to secure its catch. The Unner Flash has a flat downward angling diving lip that has a small-sized flasher attached at the bottom of the lip. Inset into the diving lip is the lures single forward line tie. The lure was a viable in a host of colors besides the blue Scale finish shown.

The antique fishing lure is shown housed in its correct red edged antique lure box. The Box end label is 800 while the edge exclaims, “Unner -Flash casts light reflections on Bottom of the lure. heretofore dark from its own shadow. This makes it extremely effective, try one.” The box also states the lure is effective for Bass, Wall Eyes, Northern Pike and Muskies.
